Dear Friend of Texas Values,
You may have heard the news about WNBA player Sophie Cunningham’s remarks standing up for the truth that men do not belong in women’s sports or locker rooms. Since her bold stance, women sports leaders like Riley Gaines and founder of XX-XY athletic wear Jennifer Sey have gathered women across the country to rally in support of Sophie who has come under attack for simply stating the truth.
Join Texas Values, Texas Eagle Forum, ICONS, WOLF, Concerned Women for America and other organizations and Texans on August 20, at 4p.m. as we rally outside the American Airlines entrance (the side with the jumbotron TV) as we stand for the truth that women's sports are for women only. Special Texas leader to be announced shortly!
Texas Values and other organizations will provide posters, and a limited amount of XX-XY shirts, hats, and arm bands are being donated by women’s sports leader Jennifer Sey. If you would like to participate, please arrive at American Airlines by 3:30pm. We will gather on the side where the large TV screen/jumbotron is located. Volunteers will help you locate the area where we are meeting. The event will begin with a press conference and end with a rally as fans are entering the arena.
If you are interested in attending the game, we encourage you to purchase tickets ASAP! If you attend the game, please wear clothing that shows your support of Sophie and the Save Women’s Sports issue and bring an 8.5" x 11" poster for the game. Send pictures you take at the game to [email protected] so we can amplify the message!
A generous group will provide water and snacks but please be prepared to endure the hotter temperatures.
If you cannot join us in Dallas, please support us on social media and consider making a tax-deductible donation to help support this event and our efforts!
